Our Academic Year begins late August, as we follow the BVSD calendar. SMMS offers M-F Full Days 8:30am-3:30pm.
We offer before school care 8-8:30 am for $100/month, as well as after school care from 3:30-4:30 pm, for $150/month.
Tuition is $1200/month or a total of $10,800 for the 9 month school year. This is approximately 165 days equaling $65.45 per day. We currently do not offer Half Day options.
Lowered tuition is dependent upon potential Scholarship funding or if your family qualifies for Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP).
Shining Mountains Montessori School (SMMS) believes in accessibility to high-quality early education for all families. Because we understand that financial barriers may exist, SMMS is working with the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program to offer need-based funding for students. Eligible four-year olds receive 15 hours of free Montessori education per week in preparation for Kindergarten.
Dear Families,
Each year, all Colorado licensed child care programs are required to share an Annual Immunization Parent Letter with enrolled families. This letter, provided by the state, includes important information about required and recommended childhood vaccines, as well as options for medical and non-medical exemptions.
The purpose of this letter is to keep families informed and support the health and safety of all children in our program. As part of this requirement, we also share our program’s immunization and exemption rates from the previous school year.
In accordance with Colorado state requirements, we are sharing our program’s immunization data for measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR):
